A Castlevania show is coming to Netflix this year

Netflix is adding a show based on the Castlevania series to its lineup this year. The news, reported by io9 , amounts to a single line of confirmation in a Netflix press release: “ Castlevania Season 1, Part 1 Coming to Netflix in 2017.” There’s no word on whether that means a live-action adaption or an anime, though the guy behind the gritty Power Rangers reboot , Adi Shankar, has talked on Facebook and with Collider about working on a “super-violent Castlevania mini-series.” Shankar previously said the story would be based on Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse .

This Drone Timelapse of Minsk is Like Something Out of a Dream

Now that the Internet is saturated with timelapse and drone videos, one of the next big frontiers may be combining the two. Timelapse photographer Artem Pryadko shows what’s possible in the gorgeous 2-minute “DroneLapse” above. It’s “a new direction in shooting time lapses — time lapse using a drone,” Pryadko writes.
